Important Information For Pupils, Parents and Guardians
Dear Parent/Guardian
In the absence of any direct and clear guidance from the NI Government, Thornhill College governors in consultation with our Senior Leadership Team have taken the decision to utilise our remaining three staff development days to make contingency plans for remote learning for our students.
Therefore, in the interests of the safety and well-being of our pupils and staff, all students are asked to remain at home for the remainder of this week.
The developing situation will of course be closely monitored on an on-going basis and we will update you as soon as any further information becomes available.
Our current intention is that pupils will return to classes on Monday 23rd March, whist we await further guidance from the NI Government.
At a time of such concern for public health, we offer our prayers for our entire community.
