Congratulations to Sarah O'Callaghan who achieved a Gold Award, and Ciara Ward who achieved a Silver Award, in the Royal Society of Biology’s Intermediate Olympiad.
The Intermediate Biology Olympiad challenges students’ biology knowledge and encourages them to continue studying the biosciences beyond school/college.
The competition consists of a one-hour multiple choice test taken online in schools under staff-supervised conditions. Questions are set on topics students are likely to have covered at GCSE and in their first year of A level.
In total 6580 students entered the competition from 409 schools worldwide.
Well done girls!
