Summer School

The Thornhill Summer School Scheme is held every year at the beginning of July.

All new Year 8 pupils are invited to attend and take part in a varied programme of activities that is designed to help them settle into their new school and to get to know their new classmates.

All activities are delivered and supervised by teachers, support staff and senior pupils.

These include:

• Drama
• Dance
• Cookery
• Art and animation
• A range of sports and games
• An introduction to the Science laboratories
• ICT

Lunch is provided each day in the school canteen.
